Headquarters Team
- What Inspires Me
While CAL began from a deeply personal loss, it has become a story of hope, healing, and resilience. Every day, I have the privilege of watching our Veterans rediscover their strength, confidence, and purpose. Witnessing those transformations and knowing our team has the opportunity to be part of that journey continues to inspire me each and every day.
- At CAL, I…
I have the privilege of leading an extraordinary team, cultivating meaningful partnerships, and creating opportunities for our Veterans to rediscover strength, restore hope, and build healthier lives through fitness, wellness, and community.
- A Little About Me
Outside of CAL, I enjoy gardening, traveling, staying active, and spending time with my husband and daughter, as well as my family and friends. I believe that growth is a lifelong pursuit, and I’m always looking for ways to learn, improve, and inspire others to do the same.
- Words I Live By
Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
- At CAL, I…
am inspired by helping others better understand what freedom truly means. I get to connect donors with the real impact they are making in the lives of combat-injured Veterans. Whether it’s partnering with companies that want to give back and engage their employees around shared values of perseverance and dedication, inspiring young people to develop a lasting appreciation for patriotism and service, or empowering individuals to be part of meaningful change, every aspect of our development work helps ensure we can continue serving the Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country.
- A Little About Me
Born and raised in Baltimore County, graduate of Dulaney High School and Salisbury University. Athletics have always been a big part of my life, from playing volleyball and basketball to completing a marathon in my twenties. Currently live in Timonium with my husband and our three children, where you’ll usually find us at a lacrosse/soccer/lacrosse/baseball field or basketball court. We love taking road trips to East Coast beach towns and spending as much time on the water as possible. If I had a few extra hours in the day, my perfect workout would be an F45 strength class, followed by Pilates, and ending with a long walk at the beach.
- What Inspires Me
Everyday I’m blessed to walk on this earth is another day I have the opportunity to be of impact to the world. I’m inspired by the principle of “paying it forward”. For every act that helped shape the course of my life I want to return the favor by assisting or inspiring someone else to achieve more.

- Words I Live By
Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and there are few who find it. – Matthew 7:13-14

- What Inspires Me
I learned about CAL in 2017 right after my ex-husband came home from Afghanistan and was struggling. The mission really spoke to me as it focused on holistic healing and using fitness as a form of recovery. I love hearing feedback from our members and how we have helped them. It’s incredible to see how many people CAL has impacted over the years, and I am honored to be a part of this amazing team.
- At CAL, I…
I have the honor of working closely with the veterans and guiding them through the application process. I am their first point of contact when they apply, and I help those who choose a fitness facility grant get placed into their desired facility. I also assist and attend all of our fundraising events.
- A Little About Me
Outside of CAL, I spend a great deal of time at the gym training and as a CrossFit Coach. Fitness has always been a passion of mine. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and spending time outdoors – hiking, gardening, paddle boarding, beach, etc.

My life revolves around faith, family and fitness. My incredible wife of 20 years has stood by my side through deployment, my physical and mental health recovery, and my middle son’s cancer. Her and my 4 kids are my world. The love we share, fitness and faith has helped shape who I am today. We all love being outside, working out together, serving others and laughing.
- Words I Live By
