CAL to receive Comptroller Award for Baltimore County
The Catch A Lift Fund being named the 2017 William Donald Schaefer Award recipient for Baltimore County! Comptroller Peter Franchot was moved when he heard about the services our organization provides to enable our nation’s veterans to recover and rehabilitate both physically and mentally.
The William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award was created to honor the legacy of the public service exemplified by former Governor, Comptroller, and Baltimore City Mayor William Donald Schaefer. One winner is selected from each of Maryland’s 24 jurisdictions and award recipients are selected based on their demonstration of improving the community and creating programs that improve the lives of Marylanders.

We will be recieving the award in a short ceremony on Friday, December 8th at 11:00 am at 410 Crossfit located at 3500 Parkdale Ave, Baltimore, MD 21211. The ceremony should last 30-45 minutes.
