Joe Hamilton is a Department of Defense Consultant with over twelve years of proven leadership ability. He has over 40 months of strategic combat experience in Afghanistan and has been awarded the Bronze Star with Valor (for battlefield heroism), three Purple Hearts, the Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous other distinguished awards and ratings. His current consulting work with the Department of Defense focuses on bringing together scientific/academic researchers and the military/law enforcement training community to improve training programs.

Since 2016 he has assisted CAL in areas of corporate development such as marketing, fundraising, and outreach efforts. He is also responsible for developing relationships with researchers and academic institutions to ensure continual development of CAL programs.
