TRX & CAL
Developed, launched and directed by CAL Team member Jeremiah Montell, USMC/ US Navy, TRX Suspension Training Systems are benefiting CAL members everyday through Montell’s efforts. In need of a way to maintain peak physical condition while on deployment, Navy SEAL Squadron Commander, Randy Hetrick, developed the TRX straps. Many veterans used these straps for conditioning, while on missions. They can be used anywhere, under any conditions.
Montell trained on TRX his 1st year in CAL, along with UFC training and since then: has lost over 100 lbs; competed in Spartan Races, placing 5th nationwide within his age group; and is CAL’s national spokesperson, advocating for veterans to be the positive change within their communities through fitness and self worth. CAL and Montell are steadfast in the goal to help veterans build a support network by offering TRX educational certifications to qualified veteran candidates, linking them with established trainers and coaches and helping to provide a platform for them to build experience as a mentor to other veterans.
These veterans in turn give back to CAL, the veteran population, as well as the civilian population; encouraging them to find a new purpose and mission post military service.
